Welcome to the ninth video in the "Fire in the Fireplace" series: "The Holy Spirit Enlivens the Word." The Word of God is used as the prime agency through which the Holy Spirit moves to extend the Good News of Jesus Christ. It is the Holy Spirit that enlivens and impresses the Word into the hearts of those we speak to; it is never our words alone that reach them.
The Fire in the Fireplace series explores the work and power of the Holy Spirit in the Christian church today. The videos are each between 4:30 and 7:00 minutes long and accompanied with study notes and guides for small groups.
