Synod, as defined historically, is a gathering of the leaders of a Diocese, both ordained and lay, who prayerfully consider in God’s presence the important matters that are before the Church.

Synod is a time for connecting and remembering that we are a part of a global family of Anglicans all over the world.
San Diego Deanery Reverse Walkabout
On Saturday, June 21 the San Diego Deanery will meet at Holy Spirit Anglican Church in La Mesa for a “reverse walkabout,” where Bishop Phil will ask the San Diego Deanery churches about our mission, context, and how the Diocese can help us. This is a great opportunity to meet other Anglicans and contemplate our shared work in the Gospel.
DWA Youth Camp: Further Up and Further In
Multiple churches in our diocese are working together to organize a Youth Camp THIS SUMMER, June 16-19, for for 6th - 12th graders on Palomar Mountain. Our theme is "Further Up and Further In!" Student cost is $350 for four days together. If you would like to donate towards or sponsor a teen you can make a check out to your church with Youth Camp in the memo or you can register a youth or sponsor a youth HERE. Registration closes June 6!
