Good Soil Good News 2: Rancho Cucamonga Anglican, CA

Rancho Cucamonga Anglican was founded in 2024 in Fr. Ron and Katelyn's living room in Fontana, initially with family and friends.  It is what church planters call "a parachute plant" because the planter literally LANDS in a community and begins building relationships with people who may share the planter's vision and values for an Anglican church plant. 

Bishop Phil planted two churches this way, and he says, "This is by far the most challenging way to plant a church.  It requires an enormous investment of time meeting, sharing, discipling and building a mission team from scratch.  Often it requires a planter to be bi-vocational, and their spouse to work full-time to survive. 

We are so thankful for the support that Christ Church, Yucaipa has given this new church, especially through providing back-office  administration and a couple for their mission team! 

Our Diocese has been blessed by Fr. Ron, Katelyn, and their children embracing that challenge in faith, along with the fruit you are about to see and hear.  You will notice some noise in the background-- it is the sound of children and visitors playing, talking, and enjoying the hospitality after worship!
