Good Soil, Good News 2: St. David’s, Montrose, CA
The people of St. David's Anglican in Montrose knew they were in Noah's Ark even before they had to leave the building they were meeting in due to a torrential downpour that damaged the building they were in. Reminding themselves that this is the ark, not the Titanic, they have dusted themselves off and begun meeting at St. Luke's for the time being.
Knowing they can trust God's faithfulness, they have not let the lack of a building affect their energy. The church holds multiple worship services, has small groups meeting at the church and in parishioner homes, and goes out to pray for students at Glendale Community College.
They ask prayer for the continued growth of the love in their church and that their friends and family members of will come see what all the fuss is about and find themselves at home.
