The Diocese requires the following training for all clergy, all vestry members, and all paid staff. It is also required for all unpaid member ministers who have direct supervision/responsibility for children and youth:

+ Certification that the person has read, understood and accepted the Diocese of Western Anglicans policies on the protection of children and youth …

+ Completion of the Diocese-approved abuse awareness training with certification of a passing score on the post-training quiz every two years. …

Additional training required within certain state jurisdictions may include mandated reporter training, sexual harassment prevention training, and workplace violence prevention training.
