Fire in the Fireplace: The Holy Spirit’s Power and Discipleship

Welcome to the 14th lesson (out of 17) in the "Fire in the Fireplace" series: "The Holy Spirit’s Power and Discipleship." The Holy Spirit is a powerful, victorious Spirit which indwells believers and can keep their sinful natures nailed upon the cross.

Holiness is an inside out reality. It is a following of Jesus that comes from the Holy Spirit being in us. A holy God requires his people to be holy. But God who ‘has called us for holiness … gives us his Holy Spirit’ (I Thess. 4:7-8) to enable us to fulfill his requirement.

If you wish, you can find the whole series and the accompanying notes here.
